The Song of Samwise

Here is one of the many ways that bravest of Hobbits Samwise Gamgee shows us how to deal with despair, even in the most terrifying of circumstances.

Whilst attempting to rescue Frodo from the tower of Cirith Ungol; a massive, foreboding, orc (and other horrors)-filled stronghold within the Land of Shadow itself. Sam, at this point feels like there is no hope. He cannot find the way to the uppermost room in said tower, where he is certain his "Master" Frodo is being held. Here we see another "upper room", akin to that Christ spoke of in Luke, but one currently corrupted by The Dark Lord Sauron:
"And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? ... And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready [for Christ's/ the Chrism's coming to the pineal/ pituitary complex]." ~ Luke 22:11-12
Sam is frantic and very conscious of time and it "running out". His motion and his future-obsession prevents him from seeing how to enter into "the city" (peace) Luke speaks of in the chapter above.

Sam is frantic and very conscious of time and it "running out". His motion and his future-obsession prevents him from seeing how to enter into "the city" (peace) Luke speaks of in the chapter above.
"At last, weary and feeling finally defeated [surrendered], he sat on a step below the level of the passage-floor and bowed his head into his hands [penitent and humble].
It was quiet, horribly quiet [no mental noise; meditation]. The torch, that was already burning low when he arrived, sputtered and went out; and he felt the darkness cover him like a tide [The darkest hour before dawn]. And then softly, to his own surprise, there at the vain end of his long journey and his grief, moved by what thought in his heart he could not tell, Sam began to sing" ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
It was from his heart - the balance point of Man's energetic system - not his intellect that Sam begins to sing a song which "he" creates on the spot, as a way of coping with his hopelessness. The melody is one he knows well, but the words just come to him/ through him. Remember my recent post about one of the "reasons" our modern Saruman's changed the frequency of music? -HERE- It was to damage and weaken the human voice, and therefore our ability to find our authenticity and inner authority. The tune Sam sings is familiar (in harmony with Divine Order, rather than dissonant) and the lyrics are inspired (his fearful ego is not in the way, so allowing them to flow from Source).

As many mystical teachings imply, the right questions/ attitude evoke an echo like response from the YOUni-Verse: "It" reveals IT'sSELF as a mirror to that consciousness which you are in essence. And this is exactly what happens for Sam when he gets to this line of his song (prayer):
'Beyond all towers strong and high,’ he began again, and then he stopped short. He thought that he had heard a faint voice answering him.'
That reply from Source rarely shouts or commands (though it gains amplitude as you become more accustomed to IT), but instead is quiet and gentle.
So now Sam knows where his "Master" is - Frodo is a Christ figure if there ever was one - but he still can't work out (with his intellect) how to reach him. In other words, Sam can't "figure out" using our well overly-strengthened thinking mind to solve (salve) this predicament.
As "chance" (Tokien's word for Synchronicity) would have it, it is an Orc, in his malice and desire to torture Frodo (as with those persecuting Christ in The Bible), who reveals The (secret/ esoteric) Way into the hidden (occult) chamber, from whence Christ will be Frodo will be sa(l)ved. It is that orcish energy, so obvious in these times, that often provides the contrast needed to gknow the difference between Truth and Falsehood; between Love and Psychopathy.
The final verse of Sam's song:
"Though here at journey’s end I lie in darkness buried deep, [just as in Mystery School initiations] beyond all towers strong and high, beyond all mountains steep, above all shadows rides the Sun [Son/ Christos] and Stars for ever dwell: I will not say the Day is done, nor bid the Stars farewell."
DO NOT DESPAIR, for no intellect no matter how clever or with endless "facts" and data to analyse, can ever use it's divisive and usually fear-based approach to feel what is coming. Do not discount the 'Eucatastrophe': a sudden, seemingly divine intervention which turns the tide for The Good
